Gorgeous colors, especially the water with that kiss of sunlight.

Just a reminder that it is the Winter's Solstice down here in Australia. An image from Noosa Heads, Queensland. Still a healthy ten and a half hours of sunlight and temperatures in the 12-23°C range.

Cheers,

More of the same from Rajan - something sublimely beautiful. It's getting boring, Rajan; post something awful for a change  :)

+1.   ;)

And here in Boston it's raining hard all day today. And it's Bill's fault (the tropical depression, not the Chairman).

Cheers,

Tom, Nobody like a braggart!  ;).

Here in Canada we still have enough summer weather left that we really don't mind if someone else has a bit too.

Nice sunset BTW. Or is it a sunrise? As you're in the southern hemisphere, is it backwards like the water in the drain?

Noosa Heads is somewhat the equivalent of the Baja California Peninsula. The company I book my accommodation with sends me holiday specials which I usually ignore but 5 nights in subtropical Queensland was a bit hard to resist.

Noosa is close to Fraser Island, I did a day trip there and if you want to see a photogenic island it is the place to go. Google image search results will give you an idea.

It is 9°C in Sydney at the moment and it is predicted to get up to 18°C so it could be worse. It is 8AM here and I'm in bed waiting for it to warm up so that I can cook some Spanish eggs. Ah the life of retired… Enjoy your NH weather.

Cheers,
