Viewing videos offline
« on: November 02, 2013, 05:39:54 pm »

I purchased the Capture One 7 videos. I want to know if I can view them offline or if I can download them and view them through itunes like I have older LL videos?

Yes, you can view them offline by downloading the file instead of streaming. It's your choice.

In either case, the difference from the old method is that you will need to view the videos with the Luminous Landscape desktop player app instead of QuickTime Player or VLC Player

New information: In the Luminous Landscape app, there is the ability to "Copy media to Mobile Device" - either iDevice or Android.

Use the Gear icon top right to access this functionality and follow the instructions.

The Mac/iDevice workflow is very much the same as that of GoodReader - using iTunes as an intermediary to transfer the files for the Purple:Player app.

IOW you do not have to download material onto each device.
