NX2 Fit Photo

I enjoy using this program however I don't understand what the fit photo feature is best used for. I figure its to resize an image for specific use (Email, website, print, etc..) Is this correct or can someone give me examples when it would be used.

Also where can I find information on resolution/ print size and how it works. Thanks

Fit Photo is best used for batch processing a number of images for printing.  If you are not doing that, don't try to figure it out.

There are also references within that thread to other threads that discuss this topic.  I don't batch print images from NX2 so I have not really tried to used Fit Photo.
