To celebrate my 20th wedding anniversary, I'm taking my family on a 13 day vacation to Alaska in August. We're starting with 4 days at Denali Park, followed by a Princess Lines cruise down the coast to Vancouver, BC.
I'm bringing the following equipment: Canon 1Ds MkIII, 40D, lens (all L) 16-35, 100-400 IS, 24-105 IS, 580EX strobe, Gitzo carbon tripod with Acratech ballhead, cable release and a bunch of CF cards. I'm bringing my MacBook Pro to sort images and back up on to the internal HD and my Epson 5000 viewer for redundant backup. Panasonic AVC-HD camcorder for the family videos.
I was wonder if anyone has done this route and if they have any suggestions for great photography spots?
