Any ideas for workarounds to pass photo metadata when sending via WhatsApp?

This is a bit of an odd, technical question. For those using WhatsApp to share large (file-size) photos with clients, have you found any workarounds for preserving or passing metadata when images are downloaded? My clients outside the U.S. insist on using it, but my processing tools and project reporting software need the metadata to properly organize assets.

Send the images as "Documents" (max 2 GB)

- In the chat click on the + sign or paperclip
- Select "Document"
- Browse the image and send it
