Could put this post elsewhere, but trust the folks in MF mindsets:
I shoot the X2D, shooting strictly landscapes on tripod, and X2D produces Hassie "propriety" raw files.
I like the features of Capture One for post, but of course Phase will not allow developing of Hassie raw files.
I would think that ancient thinking would have passed by now, and if so, they would pick up far more C1 users!
Another complain with C1, I find their "Library" so annoying for a landscape shooter perspective. Way to convoluted when you only want to work on ONE fresh tif shot.
DXO has some nice features, and missing some essential, in particular, such a simple thing: If I have shot 50 images on X2D, opened in Phocus (still totally dumb and so out of touch with the times) to gen tif files and exported to desktop folder.
Now I just want to take ONE tiff file and work on it with, not the other 49 in the folder, can't do it?
I have licensed 5 and 7 with hope 9 would finally resolved that problem (and yes, I have reported my wish to DXO non-human support multiple times but to no result.
Downloaded DXO 9, and issue is still not solved. For fun, just try to take one stand along tif file on your desktop and load it into DXO 9, let alone on of 50 in a folder.
Just ignorant, like Apple is with trying to force me into their "Cloud".
I just expect more from Apple, C1/Phase, and DXO.
OR, am I missing a "Settings" in all of those programs that wil allow me to work "my way"?
