Instantly reintroducing the basic bulk problem of lenses, which is what smartphones freed people from schlepping around. Even for free, it would be a no thanks for me.

Photography aside, my decision to buy an iPhone 13 Mini was driven by size. I did not want a larger device, which would have made redundant my current Case Logic shoulder bag that originally played house with a Walkman. Now, though, having realised - quite definitively - that I will never print again, the convenience of iPhone photography is overwhelming, in which case, a larger device suddenly has a tangible value that renders that of the ancient case’s original function but a romantic conceit.

My immediate thought as well ... "Hey that looks like a P&S camera" and limited by a fixed lens at that ...

Maybe they just made a concept version to float for feedback

Despite the sad loss of both Micheal and Kevin, and the constant changes in technology, I am glad Rob C. brought this up.

I am hoping the excellent LuLa Forum will be around for a long time.

I guess that depends on enough people putting down their opinions. At the end of the day, much of what gets written is just opinion, but opinions can be interesting, whether they be right or wrong; nobody is here to rule the world or to become a star.

It’s probably true to say that in today’s world, photography sites that consist of pretty people talking about cameras and lenses will probably get higher visitor figures, but if you want or need more than sexy talking heads, seek easy access to folks who really do know what they are talking about, then this site (LuLa) is probably going to be your best bet.
