We hadn't planned to go to Bryce, but decided to squeeze it in at the last minute for a whirlwind visit, arriving late on a Sunday evening and well after there was any decent light left in the sky. So spent most of our time trying to find a motel with a room still available and a general store where we could stock up on supplies. Then up at 'stupid O'clock' the following morning and straight out for a dawn shoot, before getting back on the road heading to yet another location, several hundred miles away. So all in all, we probably only had maybe two hours at the canyon rim itself.
Then on our way down and out of the Bryce Canyon area, I spotted this second view from the side of the road and where the clouds and the light looked absolutely amazing, so I grabbed another shot of that, before we moved on.
Yes I know, lucky old so-and-so aren't I?
