My Epson P7570 is running. 😁

It arrived Wednesday, I and 2 friends managed to get it unpacked and mounted on its stand; we were NOT able to lift it onto the stand, but we tilted the printer back on its packing blocks and 'stuck' the stand to its bottom.. Rolled it into the house, 'Tom, Dick, and Harry' installed the print basket while I did other stuff, software installation was a nonevent, and BINGO, she prints.

The prints are simply gorgeous and everything I want them to be.. Using Premium Luster 260.. Just ordered replacement ink tanks; the starter tanks don't last very long.. And like LOTS else that we buy, ink tanks are in short supply, but the tanks that are on their way from from B&H, Adorama, and IT Suppies will keep me running for quite a while.

Congrats…   glad you got it set-up and running.  The printer is fabulous, but not without its quirks.  Feel free to PM me if you run into some of them.  I’ve owned one since released and have worked a lot w/ Epson Pro Support in working through early teething issues.

TYVM, and All that is GREAT news.. You may be hearing from me.  So far, its output is the HIGHEST quality and it's free of ANY quirks.

I was going to replace the 1st-4 tanks that required replacement with 700s, the 2nd-four with 350s, and the last-4 with 150s, but my three sources--B&H (my favorite and lowest delivered cost), Adorama, and IT Suplies do NOT always have all colors and sizes available.. Since I finally determined now to read the 'Best by' dates and they're all in 2024, I'm buying 700ml tanks in ALL colors when B&H has them available; I have 8 colors here or on the way and will order the other 4 when they're available from B&H.

Its output is still the best large-format output I've ever seen, and I'm THRILLED I have it.. I love the prints so much I hang them all over.

One thing to be aware of is that not all Epson (and many 3rd party) papers are “properly” attached to the core tubes.  E.g. I had an Epson roll run out and get wads of masking tape that was used to secure it to the roll stuck in the feed rollers.  It was a heck of a mess and took a couple of hours of careful cleaning using very fine jewelers tools and tiny needle nose pliers, and my shop’s vacuum system to get all the crud out.  Lesson learned is don’t get anywhere near the end of the roll.  I use a spread sheet to keep track and thought I was in good shape for the last print.  Not so. 

As a result, as I go along with this printer, calculating the “usable paper” on a roll, it keeps getting smaller and smaller, ergo the “cost per linear inch / foot” is going up rapidly.  LOL 

Keep having fun… it’s addictive.
