Capitalizing on Hot Air
« on: August 20, 2020, 03:35:50 pm »

One of the few legitimate complaints about the requirements to wear face masks is their tendency to fog the lenses of glasses-wearers.  There seems to be no way to avoid this with a surgical-style mask (principally designed to protect those in the vicinity of the wearer).  Some humid air can even seep out of a properly-fitted respirator (principally designed to protect the wearer), which leaves no visible gaps along its edges, if you exhale strongly.  But one person's nuisance is another's marketing opportunity.  I snapped the attached cellphoto this afternoon in the waiting room of a large ophthalmology practice near Washington, D.C.

Speaking about hot air stuff, I just got a Philips Hot Air Food Fryer.. Much healthier than frying in a pan.
