Hi, I have been reading George deWolfe's Digital Photography Fine Print Workshop book which was published by McGraw-Hill in 2006. I hav some questions but the author's website seems to be off limits.
So, does anyone know if George is still alive and active?
Is he contactable?
Does anyone else think his blending samples in chapter 9 are incorrect?
I know many consider his arguments in favour of the PS History Brush and against layer masks to be non-persuasive and that a tool he developed, whose name escapes me, to be unhelpful but, until I got to chapter 9 where he advocates the History Brush and discusses dodging and burning using blending modes, I thought most of what he had written made good sense.
I'm puzzled whether he or I have got blending modes wrong!
