Head Strike or Other Artifact?

I am using a P800 on a Mac.  I have a new issue where fine transverse lines appear on every print.  At first I assumed they were head strikes, and they are in the same direction as the head movement.  But there is no defacement of the paper surface sheen, and these evenly spaced lines appear over every square inch of the print uniformly.  I have my platen gap set to Wide, and changed my paper thickness to the maximum 15: no change.  And I get this even on perfectly flat 8.5x11 sheets.  I am beginning to think it may be some other type of artifact.  These lines do not appear in the image itself when viewed in Lr or Ps.  I am printing from Ps.

The attached image is a detail from a scanned print.  It is not as clear as I would like, but you can get the idea what it looks like.

Any ideas?

That’s pretty clear. Yikes! Is your printer directly connected to your computer?

Problem Solved!

I knew Cyan ink was low, but the printer had not yet called for replacement.  But a nozzle check showed that the Cyan was not printing properly.  It went dry on a head clean cycle, and the printer finally called for replacement, which fixed the problem.
