Back in the 60s or 70s I think, he had a great show up in the McLellan Galleries in Glasgow. In particular, I recall some amazing black/whites (of course!) of a foggy day along the river at Benares; the saris and baskets fading into the background as into a mirage of their own ma- oops! careful!
