Lovely scenes as usual, Rajan.

I am reminded that on my 1974 visit to Iceland I quickly decided that Icelandic sweater patterns were all derived from the local landscape. These could certainly be sweater patterns.

I really like the first one. I see an upward movement created by the white lines; and the same lines make a wonderful pattern that creates a side movement, making the image unified. One wants to see the whole image. Just excellent Rajan!!

In this region known as Tröllaskagi, there are other mountains with a similar pyramidal profile. I'll have more on them by and by.

So does "Tröllaskagi" translate as "the Great Pyramid of the Trolls?"

Eric,

Skagi is peninsula, and so literally, Troll Peninsula.

Thanks, Rajan.

Then I could change my last name to Myrvaagskagi without changing the meaning very much ("nes" is cape or promontory in Norwegian.)
Or I could change it to Myrvikskagi, which would look more Icelandic and still have the same meaning.  (Norwegian "Vaag" = Icelandic "Vik.")   ;)
