Title: Multnomah Falls, OR
Post by: James Clark on April 28, 2015, 03:49:57 pm
It's been photographed to death, but I managed to get a clear shot just as the sun was peeking over the "horizon."   Although I do have the traditional vertical pano, I rather like this slightly different, off center treatment that shows the context of the falls and the bridge and the bit of light playing through the surrounding trees.

I also quite like the sunstar created by the Canon 16-35 f4L.

I like it a lot but have a small problem with the magenta cast of the waterfall. It's not a major problem, though.
Well done.

It absolutely DOES have a magenta cast on the water, doesn't it?  I didn't notice that until now - will definitely tone that down.  Thanks!

The peaking sun really adds an extra dimension to the image, well done.
