Title: Any conversion quality improvement for D810 in LR6/CC
Post by: BernardLanguillier on April 23, 2015, 01:07:14 am
Although I don't use LR much, it is part of my 9,99 US$/month photographer photoshop CC package...

Image quality for D810 files wasn't too exciting on LR5, should I expect something better with LR CC that I just downloaded last night?

Thanks.

Cheers,
Bernard

Sadly, no. If there's no 9.1 surprise, demosaicing and color are still 2012 quality.

Regards.

Hi,

On my P45+ I don't see any change in demosaic, see below LR6 left and LR5 right. I have hoped that they would improve on the demosaic part, but it seems that is not the case.

Best regards
Erik

they can't change demosaick (fixing errors not counting) for existing camera where it existed already (introducing demosaick for something totally new like X-Trans does not count, because it does not break legacy conversions - they did not exist before) w/o changing the "process" and introducing something like "process 2015"...
