Title: Credo 50 vs Credo 40
Post by: calindustries on April 20, 2015, 03:47:38 pm
I'm a current Credo 40 owner. Have any of you switched to from the 40 to the 50, or from the IQ140 to the IQ250 or some reasonably similar combination, have any feedback? Price removed, is there anything the 40 does better than the 50? I have not had the pleasure of using any of the 50mp CMOS backs yet to get an opinion, but would love to hear feedback....

best,
Craig

You're in Brooklyn, get over to DT and put it in your hands, or have them come out and demo one in your studio.

The Credo 40 is better at compatibility with wide angle lenses of technical cameras. I see no advantage of color.

The Credo 50 has some quantum leap in dynamic range, high ISO performance, battery life, live view, long exposure etc.
