Title: Red Rock Canyon
Post by: rgs on April 03, 2015, 10:00:25 pm
Not Nevada's or California's or...this Red Rock Canyon State Park is in western Oklahoma. It's a small sandstone box canyon with very steep sides, an interesting history, and lots of interesting rock formations - and it really is that red. Whataya think?

It's also a pretty decent restaurant chain from Oklahoma with a wood fired grill.

You should get it with some sunset action and see how red this sucker gets :)

That is a nice idea but it's a fairly narrow box canyon. Sunset doesn't really happen - it kind of goes from full sun to shad without passing through much golden light.  :D
