Went exploring last weekend west of Paso Robles, with a long list of backroads we had yet to go down.
Dover Canyon Road is shown on maps to go through to Klau Mine Road, but it doesn't. It ends at the gate of some private ranch. Still, some of the most extraordinary Spanish Moss covered oaken forest I've ever seen outside of Monterey County and Big Sur. Well worth the drive if you're out that way, as is Cypress Mountain Road that starts a wee bit after Justin Winery on Chimney Rock Road.

Thanks! I'll take it!
Sunrises through foggy trees are one of my fave subjects, but it's hard to get them unless I leave Hollywood.

NICE!

Maybe it's too deceptively simple. Took me a while, but I agree with the above.

At first I wanted to see all of the tree, but after viewing it awhile I think it's best like this. A simple serene scene. Very nice.

Fully compliant with all of the positive comments!
