Great images! Love the colours and contours. Indeed, suggestive and provocative.
But there is one question that does come to mind...
Was there a good match in terms of size or did one dwarf the other? (With nothing to use as reference, it is hard to know if the second image is 9", 9' or 9 yards/meters.)
(Sorry, can't help it but as the Internet keeps telling us, size is everything in that department!)

You got to take into account that stuff shrinks when it is cold. ;)
Great images, Michael, and thanks for the article. Great to feel like among the grown-ups again, instead of the usual bunch of professional armchair outragers.

Pretty pictures!
No doubt, they will inspire new kinds of Antarctica tours. Another runway may be needed.

Slobodan....
That is the best line!! Thanks for it, I laughed out loud.
Size? Godzilla was right. Size matters.

As for (from Michael's article):
Any erotic connotations seen are purely in the mind of the viewer. There may be some viewers (you?) who do not see genitalia. If that is the case, then please move along. Nothing to see here.
See this TV anchor dress' neckline (http://nydn.us/1bdhin9) to see if you see it :)

But Slobodan: She doesn't look at all like an iceberg! ???

Michael, if you did the right marketing and had the ear of the right customers, you could sell prints of those for $6.5 million. ;D
-
My folks were both Georgia O'Keefe afficianados. I'm sure they'd nod approvingly at Michael's photos, probably with a wink too. :)

I think Hugh Hefner would pay big dollars for those two prints :)
Perhaps we need to rename the images from 'Antarctica Erotica #2' to something more colourful ;) ... Mikeys Luminous Big Blue

But Eric, looks can be deceiving. What we see on the outside can be just the tip of the iceberg. Deep down, she could be quite frigid :)

Good images and good article.

Nice images ánd a good laugh in one go, thanks Michael ! (and Slobodan of course)

Antarctica Erotica #1...so THAT'S what an "Ice Queen" looks like. Art does indeed Illuminate ;)

Well, now another question is answered, why the call it the little blue pill!
When I was still working we had a case where a pharmacy tech stole about $40,000.00 worth of the various ED meds over a period of several months and was selling them to his high school buddies.
He was quite upset when after we arrested him, it was explained that for people in that age group they were of little or no benefit as Mother Nature would provide.

Was he a hardened criminal?
Jeremy
(sorry)

Jeremy
(sorry)
Ouch! :D
-
Was he a hardened criminal?
If he was, he'd certainly have received a stiff sentence.
-
Well he was supposed to get hard time but the presiding judge was soft on crime :)

The pun is the highest form of humor.
Who was the biggest knight at King Arthur's Round Table?
Sir Cumference. He got that way from too much Pi.
-
Love the blue tones of the "male" image. Surprisingly I have a very similar image to the "female" one taken back in 2010.

Me too! :):)

Well, I like them a lot, but opinions have been divided on the point. "A man who would make so vile a pun would not scruple to pick a pocket." Samuel Johnson

Come to think of it, it would be a much better explanation for polar caps' shrinking than global warming. I'll let Ted Cruz know.

+1. :D

Wonderfully seen, captured and presented, thanks!
That Sports Illustrated cover is just... so naff. About as erotic as a traffic jam.
Best wishes,
Nick
