Wonderful work in the vain of nick Brandt (trust me that's a huge complement!), but softer, more romantic, perhaps that is the Russian influence.
definitely outstanding!
I have been gearing up for Africa (with MF), and hope to be able to pull it off this year so these are an inspiration.
congratulations of the success of the portfolios, well deserved.

Why not ? When I first read up/googled photographer Michael Levin every single bio of him included that he used to be a restaurant entrepreneur.
Or would you mean that the source for the steaks in his restaurant are in fact his (former) models ?... ;D ;)
That book is on my wishlist now,

Stylized and compositionally artistic, I love these images. I'd love to shoot in Africa and the challenge would be how to shoot such complex subjects yet come away with emotive images, Anton has done that. Great article as well.

Not entirely and a case could be made for inequality.
It seems that the vegetarians end up at his restaurants, whereas the carnivores are preferred by the galleries.

I met and shot with Anton in Scotland last November. He is extremely talented and has a somewhat unique vision that I found refreshing. Glad to see his work featured here.

Some of the finest work seen on this site in while - a stunning, coherent vision. And if you know Kevin, you know that saying Anton owns a series of steakhouses is a worshipful phrase indeed.;)

I agree, the photos are stunning.
I would like to buy the book, but after considerable searching I could not find a sales outlet. Has any one else succeeded?

In the not so distant future Luminous-Landscape should have e-shop capability. When that happens we will see if we can add the book to the shop.
In the meantime I'll contact Anton to see if there is a place to purchase the book.

Stylized and compositionally artistic, I love these images.
Anton is a fun guy...I met him in Iceland a couple of years ago (at a PODUS workshop). He later took a Greg Gorman Workshop (not sure how Anton dealt with shooting nude males) and his work was unique.
He has a great eye and a totally different take on most images than most. Which is what the article shows...great design and composition as well as good technique. I like the fact he chose B&W as the rendering (with a touch toning involved).
