Nice compositions. However I would try to lighten the sky because the tone is too similar to the buildings. The yellows really make the image in number 3 along with the moose.

Hi Slobodan,
Another nice one, with variations. I like the first one the best.
One remark though, (on my display) the first one seems to have an ever so slight magenta cast to the blue sky. I am kind of allergic to such blue sky colors, so I may be more sensitive to them than others, and find them distracting (which is a pity).

Hey Im sure I saw these earlier today somewhere else ;)
As said on Flickr: really like #3, the way those yellow thingies are incorporated in the composition is great.
Now that Bart mentioned it: I see that very slight Magenta cast here too on #1 in the sky, I thought that only happened with Sigma DP Merrill cameras (I know from experience :( )

Thanks, Bart, and you are correct, there was a "slight" (+10) blue hue correction toward magenta, corrected now.

Thanks, Stamper. Actually, there already was a +10 lightening of blues in the original version. However, I don't want to go much further, as I quite like the graphic effect of perspective flattening via blending the manmade colors into the colors of nature, it that makes sense.

Another excellent series. Bold colours and fine distribution. Well seen. Really attracts the eye and then finally makes you realize you are really looking at buildings in an urban setting. I was going to say how much I like the first image, but when I stepped back I really noticed the rhythm of the yellows in the last image.

I knew you are going to latch onto that! :)
That (+10 toward magenta for blue hue) was a quick (and wrong) way to unify wall colors in all three images.
Btw, Bart and I would make a great color-correction team: me allergic to cyan-ish blues, him allergic to magenta-ish blues :)

I think you made the right choice. I think a lighter blue would be distracting and compromise the composition and become a distraction.

A little background about those photos:
When I was taking them, it was the unusual moose picture that attracted me in the first place, then I noticed the surrounding colors and buildings. I thought, at first, the moose must be a part of a commercial campaign. So I googled it ("pink bubblegum moose Chicago," duh!) and it turns out it is actually an art project (http://wabashartscorridor.org/portfolio_page/15379/) by the Columbia College and a fellow Chicago photographer, Jacob Watts (http://www.jacobwatts.net). So, credit where credit is due.

I like #3 the best but they are all nice compositions and I like you pp as well.
It reminds me that it is too long ago that I visited Chicago :)
