New Day...

I like it. I didn't have to down-load it. I still had the "love those trees" copy in the dock at bottom of my screen.
I still don't know what to say, other than nearly everything.

Nice light.

You gotta get up awful early for that!
Very nice, Peter.

Thanks all. Russ I sure did, very early...
Will be the next painting to start. 60"x72"

Good luck, Peter. You gotta get up early and stay up late to do something that size.

When the painting is done, be sure to post it here. Full size, of course. ;)

Beautiful painting. Some do-do heads will get into a tizzy over the way the painting is split up in the center. Personally, I praise those who dare to break the "Law of Thirds" convention.

Thanks Bob very much.
I have been painting for many years...Always in mortal combat with the do-do heads.

Beautiful work, Peter, the painting especially.
I'm curious why you posted a B&W photograph and followed it up with the painting in colour. Was the original file in colour? If so, I would be curious to see it.
I love what you've done with the painting.

A good example of what painting is good for. I like it.
