Dead juniper tree on Antelope Island.

Good B&W image. Would it have been possible to shoot from a slightly lower angle, so that the tree was more separated from the background?

I like it. I think Paulo is right with a change in angle. I can live with that, but find my eye drawn to that very dark tree on the left. Maybe lightening it up a bit would offer some improvement?

Thanks for the comments. Still not sure about the juniper tree in the background, whether it should be lighter or leave the way it is.

I'm intrigued by how the tree looks back lit by a white mist ? This pulls me in for a moment.

It's a quite pleasing image, as is. But I tend to agree with Bob that the darker tree tends to pull the eye away from the main subject. I would try lightening it and see it how you think it looks - unless you've already done that, and decided otherwise.
