Title: How to store and/or ship a 40x60 canvas print?
Post by: trevarthan on February 25, 2015, 01:09:28 pm
Hello,

I have one of my 40x60 canvas prints above my fireplace. I really love this size because it's almost like a window into another world.

I just shot another scene and I really want to print it that large too, and maybe put the other print in storage. I'd also like to put both prints up for sale on my website.

So, what's the best way to store and ship a print that large?

Thanks,

Wow. Full crate construction, eh? I do have all the woodworking tools to make that happen. I just wonder how much cost it adds to shipping? Sounds like a great idea for long term storage. Nothing like plywood to keep accidents from poking holes in the canvas.

I'm going to have to give this a try, for sure.

Where is a good place to buy bubblewrap cheap, btw?

My local framing supplier has it in large rolls. Check with your framing supplier. The killer is the shipping due to the bulky size. If your local supplier delivers to your studio for free then you're all set.    - Jim
