Uh, those aren't "improvements", those are just a list of standard features...no news there.

I'm using CC 5.7.1 and would like to make use of the "multiple monitor support" standard feature. How do I enable this? Thanks!

By typing shift-E?  Only supports two monitors, but hey - I haven't room for more anyway.

Thanks, Simon! I didn't know that that keystroke existed and I do find it useful.     - Jim

Yup, post was a heads-up, interesting in that it was a release coming from Adobe, not a third party. Judging by the listing and the speed of your response, looks like a long overdue release will soon be upon us.

IMHO they can sell it for 200 bucks as long as you can buy an unlimited licence. Forcing a subscription-based licence, now that would be a shame.

Why can't we just wait until either a beta or trial version is available and then go through new features/improvements/etc?

Because that would cause the whole internet to implode.

Beta testing has been ongoing for some time.

I don't think we are going to see an RC version made available this time if the on-sale date of (variously reported) 6 or 9 March is correct.

My point was, and still is, why not wait until something tangible is available and then we can all look and see what we like/don't like/wish was included? I don't care if there is not a public beta, etc. When the product becomes available we call make up our minds whether to purchase it or not.

The ability to see a large portion of the filmstrip in Grid view on the second monitor is a real time saver for me.     - Jim

I never use the film strip at bottom of screen even when using laptop. It's much easier to go back and for between grid view and develop/loupe etc using shortcuts. Filmstrip is simply too faffy in my view.
