Title: Flesh tone correction?
Post by: tshort on January 10, 2006, 10:53:04 pm
I read about this new feature in latest rev of Elements.  Wondering whether similar will be in LR?  Or is it even useful? (It sounded to me like it will be).

It sounds like a nice dream, but I'm really skeptical.  Getting flesh tones just right a time consuming process at times, but photo subjects know their own tones and can spot it in an instant if a photo is off.    It's one of the principal areas of concern in our studio.  There is such a broad range of flesh tones in the human species that it's hard to conceive of an auto feature.

Not having Elements 4 I'm not familiar with that tool. However, I doubt it would be too useful as LR has a considerable amount of control over the primary and secondary colors in the HSL tab.
