Title: Website for a charity project
Post by: Chiotas on February 13, 2015, 08:10:47 am
Dear guys,
I need your help.
I'm try to contribute in a charity project of the religious community of my town.
The project is to set up a website where everyone can buy as a digital download some historical pictures of my town/religious community. The collected money will be used to restore the church and to fund other community projects.

In other words, I'm trying to set up something like an image stock website, but I need to find something without any fee/commission (as the purpose is to collect money for charity).
Online I found this (http://photoarchivenews.com/stockbox-photo-gallery-software), but I need something free or at least that will not affect so much the fundraising.
Also I'm not sure that's what I'm looking for..

Thank you for any help that you can provide.
Best,

Francesco

You might want to check the offerings of your web hosting company. I know that mine, WebHostingHub, offers a lot of free web software for use by its customers, including photo galleries and online payment systems. They probably aren't as fancy and slick as the commercial offerings, but they may be fine for your purposes.
