Title: Water Breaks Rock
Post by: MasonJarr on February 11, 2015, 04:07:46 pm
When it turns to ice at least.  I was out hiking a few weeks ago and initially noticed the colors of lichen in these rocks.  As I got closer I saw the ice and knew I wanted to work it into the composition.  I tried to balance the diagonal with warm colors on one side and cool on the other.  I'm not sure it worked.

It works for me.
There is a strong diagonal in the clouds that is reversed from the diagonal between ground and sky, and I think that helps the composition.
