Title: Recommended steps to upgrade to Capture One Pro 8

I have three questions in regard to an upgrade to C1 8:


1. Do I have to first remove C1 7 before the upgrade? Or do I just install it on top?

2. What do I have to do so the old catalogs from C1 7 transfer well to C1 8?

3. I'm on Mavericks, and don't see a reason to upgrade to Yosemite (so many bad reviews on Apple's site - my MacBook Pro is running perfectly, so why risk it?).

1. no/yes (you can choose to keep both)

2. open the catalog in c8 and confirm to update

3. Mavericks itself does not process new Raw files, like those of the D750, your not seeing any thumbnails in finder. I decided to skip Y.
