Trying to understand.
I was printing some 13" x 36" on an Epson Glossy 250 roll of 36" paper. The actual printed image is 12x35.
Measuring the cut sheet, it is not 13" but 14.125"?
Is there a way to set a paper size and have the printer cut that exact length?
Any thoughts

It depends on what you have your cutter set for, and what minimum borders you have set.
Mine cuts 13" at 13", but it has been so long since I set it up, I don't remember what settins I eventually went for.

If anyone else knows how to set the cutter to be accurate please chime in. I'll do some exploring. This is a new 9890. So I made no changes to the cutter. I create a border in PS or LR. I don't need an extra 1.125 "
Thanks

Update:
MENU: Under paper cutter there is a setting
ROLL PAPER MARGIN 15mm, 3mm
I'm guessing this is the left and right margins?

There are three enforced margin settings available on the printer console (they are actually in the manual, unlike a lot of things). But he default is for quite large margins.

Are you printing directly from an image software program like photoshop, or are you using wasatch? I highly recommend investing in wasatch softrip for epson, I have the 9890 as well and it is such a HUGE convenience, you can simply set the cut margins in there as well.

Photoshop and Lightroom. Its just strange to set a paper size of 13" x 36" and get 14.125 x 36"? Haven't fount how to set it to be accurate. I don't have a 44" trimmer so I then have to hand trim the paper.

- Make sure your printer is set to roll paper mode and not single sheet mode
- Set your paper size and source in the printer driver
