Made only possible because a parade watcher who stepped in front of my shot saw her faux pas and moved just at the right moment.
If this isn't street, I guess I just have to quit trying.

That's pretty darn good Street, IMHO. Even if it doesn't have a heron.

Smirk--well done.

Well, she a bit of a weird bird.

No need to quit. You hit the jackpot with this one. :)

Awesome, sometimes things come together so nicely, like here, worth a big smile this one.

It's encouraging to see so much good work show up on LuLa. This definitely is part of that trend. This kind of street work is damned hard to do. You have to try it to understand.

thanks everyone. I like this kind of photography but I am still but a wee babe in the woods when it comes to developing these kinds of shots. I have been very reluctant to show it locally as it does poke fun at the seated couple. I am thinking if I change the title to "connections," perhaps I can and let each person make their own connections thus remove the obvious point I was making. I only had time to make the one exposure.

Yeah, I'd change the title, Chris. I think the picture is funny without being insulting. The title tips it over the edge.
And in this kind of situation you usually have time for only one exposure. Most of the time you don't even have that.
