Our first trip to Arches National park. My wife and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. Yesterday I dragged her out of bed to go to Mesa Arch. Cold morning and the trail was icy but we were both blown away with this place. What a moment.

Lovely shot Mark!
I really like the subtly of foreground rock formations in the low light!

Beautiful, Mark! And not the usual cliché shot, either.

Love the mist rising in the BG

Yes!

Lovely light. I find the foreground a bit "overcrowded", especially with the intrusion of the rocks on the right hand side.

Very nice and original take on Mesa Arch!
Bravo...

Wonderful shot! Beautiful colors and tonality! Makes me feel I was there, enjoying the sunrise!

Absolutely great take on a well worn subject. Great that you were able to get the spouse up to enjoy this!

Well worth getting up early for. Can always nap at noon. Beautiful image.

Very nice and unusual take on the place, Mark. I'm guilty of the clichéd shot (and I love it, without apology), but this is good. I look forward to seeing your other shots from Arches.

Great shot, must have been wonderful. I recommend slip on cleats. They fit over any shoe, I have them in my pack always.
