Title: Fairfield Horseshoe, Fuji X100T with WCL
Post by: AndyS on January 11, 2015, 11:26:58 am
Hi,

I've recently taken the decision to pair my kit right down, now going with just the Fuji X100T and the WCL and TCL adaptors. Really enjoying the focus this has brought to my photogrpahy, although I can quite understand why others might see it as a slightly mad decision!

Still, I've been enjoying the results so far. Thought I'd share this image taken in the UK Lake District whilst going around the Fairfield Horseshoe - a popular walk starting from Ambleside. I've yet to get a 49mm adaptor for my Lee Filter kit, so had to do without a graduated filter, but was pleased with the way the sensor handled the dynamic range in a single shot.

Thanks for looking, some more images from the same walk here: Blog Post (http://www.astannard.com/blog/2015/01/04/fairfield-horseshoe-with-the-fuji-x100t/)

Andy, I've pretty much done the same with my X100s, and it did quite nicely over Crinkle Crags & Bow Fell. When I'm walking & want to take some photos (as opposed to walking to take photos), that's going to be it for me. The DSLR & lenses are reduced to photography-specific outings.

Nice set of photos BTW

Do you think their are advantages with the x100T over the x100s?  I've been eyeing this setup myself.

Hi,

Thanks for the comments.

MadDog - I've never used the X100S, only the X100 - from which it's a massive upgrade.

Of the new 100T features though the things I've found useful are:

The new mini EVF pop-up in the the OVF is nice, but to be honest I haven't really used it in anger.

Thanks,
Andrew.

Stunning view ! I love traveling feather lite in the woods, one camera and one lens and a good
walking stick and I am good to go, very freeing.
