Title: Settings needed for simply elegant matte canvas
Post by: huguito on January 08, 2015, 11:52:00 pm
I am going to profile a sample of simply elegant matte canvas on my 9600

What are your settings?
I can't find them in their website

Media type?   Looks like Ultrasmooth Fine Art could be OK but I am not sure
Platten Gap?

Gaps near max.  Fine Art Watercolor is the usual media for canvas in that category.

It's not a very sharp printing canvas, so it's probably better to err on the wide side for the gaps, there's no real penalty in reduced sharpness.

If you can find a profile and settings for Sunset Select Matte Canvas, use those.  BC "800M" canvas settings and profiles should also work.  Lyve would be OK too.

It's a nice canvas.  I ran 8300 profiles from coated targets and the gamut is as good as any matte canvas I've seen.
