We've been having some phenomenal sunsets here in southern Idaho for the last few evenings, but I've been busy with other projects and couldn't make it out. I made it this evening though, but the colors just weren't as nice as they can be. However, we have plenty of rocks so here are a few for your critiques.

Wonderful sky in the second one.

Yes. The first one lacks a little contrast imo.

I like #s 2 and 3, good skies and compositions.
-
#2 for me. Maybe a slight increase in contrast?

Thanks for all the feedback. #2 is my favorite, also.

The sky is just incredible in #2. Other photos are not bad at all, far from it. There's a good sense of depth of the landscape and while the rocks take up a large portion of each image, there's still plenty to explore beyond them and in the sky.

#2 is sublime. I like the where the eyes go when viewing it. I bet it would make a hell of a nice print.

Thank you. I don't print many of my photos....mainly because I never think they're good enough. But, I do really like this #2 shot from the series. I shot it with a Nikon D810 so the RAW file is about 38 Mpix and the resolution is incredible. I have a 4K monitor for viewing/editing and it really looks good on there. So, I think I am going to print this one. I recently remodeled a portion of my house and I have plenty of bare walls just waiting for something to go on them.

Defiantly print #2, great image with an interesting composition.

I like #2. These photographs bring back memories of living in Pocatello, ID. You have some wild country out there. I'm sure you also appreciate the movie Napoleon Dynamite. Thanks for sharing.

I would suggest a contrast increase predominantly in the sky area.

Yes, but it'll be a few days. I'm going out of town.

I agree with all the praise for #2, the sky really enhances the overall composition. A great image.

Here are the color files for those same three images. Keep in mind I'm still learning Photoshop. I appreciate any constructive critiques.
