Title: downhill

I can't decide if this is good or wholly worthless. Thoughts? (You don't have to pick one or the other, of course  :))

I find it very unusual, intriguing, well-spotted and well executed. Almost abstract, having both patterns and texture, rule of thirds, classic combination of opposing colors, good contrast, deep shadows and bright highlights. All the elements of a successful composition are there.

One nitpick: the extraneous detail in the extreme upper lefthand corner is totally superfluous. Get rid of that and you'd have all five stars from me ;)

Upper left?

I like the colour contrast and texture a lot.

I'm with Slobodan on this. I think it would be a fine addition to the Abstract thread.

I like the shadows a little brighter.  They are three quarters or more of the image and where the action is.
