Title: Cambo Actus and Sony A7r
Post by: frencm on November 29, 2014, 10:28:43 pm
Hi

I recently bought the Cambo Actus to use with my A7r-mainly to shoot jewellery and watches.
Now I have to decide on lenses to use with this combo-does anyone have a run down on the best ones to use with this combination?
Will the Rodagon apo N lenses work well with this as good as or better than LF digital?I already have a Rodenstock 105mm apo digitar but after trying it out it isn't suitable as the object in the frame is too small at minimum focusing distance(it doesn't focus at infinity either which is a minus too).

Many thanks for your help
Mark

the rodagon 80 is superb on this camera, probably the best lens for it

Many thanks Geesbert-I was looking for something concrete on this as a starting point and if I know the Rodagons will perform I take a  look at them first.

Hello,

I use Rodenstock Rodagon and Apo Rodagon lenses with my Horseman VCC Pro adaptor attached to a Nikon D810 camera.

The 90mm, 105mm and 120mm Apo Rodagon lenses are just stunning. The 60mm, 80mm, 135mm and 150mm Rodagon lenses are also excellent lenses.

I use this kit for food, product, art reproduction and car.

Cheers

Simon

many thanks Simon

for the Rodagon recommendation-I can get my hands on one fairly quickly to test.
