Just got my 7800 last week and downloaded Bill's new profiles. Was interested in hearing from anyone who has tested them.
My results so far are:
- I've only tested the Premium Luster profiles at 2880 dpi
- My favorite is CS2 (not to be confused with Photoshop CS2)
- The differences between the profiles seemed very slight
- The CS2 profile gave me the richest looking image with the best shadow detail.
The prints I'm getting of the machine using the CS2 profile are BEAUTIFUL including numerous B&W images that I've printed in RGB mode (because I like the "toned" look).
