Yesterday morning I went out hoping for a foggy morning. Instead, I found cold, clear weather. I saw this shot as I was hiking alongside a clearing of trees. The morning sun was coming through the trees and lighting up this tree with beautiful side light. I originally took the shot in the landscape orientation. However, I felt that the portrait orientation (with cropping) had less distractions. I added a vignette to bring attention to the tree. Any comments or critiques would be appreciated.

Nice, it works well against the darkish background.

The vertical framing works very well and the post-processing very well handled with nothing overdone.
Bravo, it's a very nice and elegant image.

A lovely and subtle shot bringing out the sidelit leaves to perfection.

Quite beautiful.
For some reason it reminds me of an image by AA (http://www.art-days.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/ADAMS_Aspins_NorthernNM1958jpg.jpg), only in colour of course.
