A shot from a couple of days ago at Coaley Peak looking over the Severn Vale.

Very nice. I love the play of the light on the fields.

Nice. Do you have one from minutes earlier?

It would have been pretty dull with the sun behind that cloud.

Beautiful photo - a wonderful moment.
I can't say for sure, but I think what Armand may have been alluding to is the overly bright (blown-out) highlights in the sky which, even a few moments earlier, may have been in better balance with the rest of the photo. I find them too white making them overpowering and distracting.

Or maybe a couple of minutes later.

Yes, that's where I was getting. Didn't know the sun was behind the clouds earlier.

I found this shot was the best medium of the two, a few seconds earlier and there wasn't enough light on the land, a few seconds latter and the sky was blowing out too much even with a 2 stop grad plus creating notable glare. You can actually see in the shot theres another back of cloud just below the sun which it went behind a couple of minutes latter.

The light is stunning… I guess that it really was the decisive moment.

Would you consider combing two shots using the best sky from one and the well-lit land from another?
