Thanks for the info, download is "en route"!

Not sure what good DxO will do me since it doesn't do Pro Photo or DNG. But I guess if I ever wanted to correct lens problems it might be useful.

Thanks for the heads up, downloading it as 'a something to learn about...' also looked for the version 8 documentation on the website and nothing found.
There is for v6 v7 v9 and v10 but not a mentioned on v8 ~ oops! if you drill down on this page http://support.dxo.com/categories/20064428-documentations to here there are indeed the docs http://support.dxo.com/forums/20970938--DxO-Optics-Pro-Documentation
Hope that helps any others looking :)
PS likely a daft question but does it 'play nice' when installed on Win7 Pro 64bit where the LR and CS6 are present??
PPS downloaded OK and looking at the installer version number it says 8.0.0.0 so does that mean the release notes of the 'dot' releases are not there in this free gift???

Thanks for the link to the documentation!
DxO plays nice with Lightroom, don't know about CS6 or CC.
Installed v8.5.0 Build 437.

If it worked with IIQ files it would be a great dev app.
BUT, it doesn't! I have no use for ProPhoto or DNG, so I guess thats useless, What was ProPhoto good for again? Was it color? Can't remember.
I already know about DNG. it sounds nice to have all info in one file, I just don't trust it/Adobe to commit to it.
