That yellow staghorn is unusual. Is it a mushroom or a really big slime mold?

It's a real mushroom and not so unusual here in Belgian Forests.

Thanks. I couldn't imagine a slime mold that stout. The eastern US slime molds raise dainty moss-sized fruiting bodies. They are only free-living amoeba colonies, after all.

Love your mushrooms, I have lots of them from the PCT... but never saw some of these, which is impressive.
