Title: Misery
Post by: Chris Calohan on September 29, 2014, 06:58:25 pm
Got tired of waiting for the rain to quit...which it hasn't and doesn't look likely anytime soon.

No umbrellas, Eric. I thought about using mine but knew I couldn't handle it and the camera so just rolled down the window, shot, then mopped the interior afterward with a flannel shirt.

As we say in Scotland a ....drookit burd. It is certainly wet and sad looking. Well seen.

Won't be long before I'm watching that guy, Chris. Looks as if we may soon have a contract on our Colorado house, and we're getting ready to put a new one in at Hawthorne. This one will be our permanent residence and probably will see us out.

Ah, my stepsister just rebuilt an old homestead on the lake in Hawthorne. Great old church there in town with good old fashion hoe-downs every Friday night. Good fun for a generally older crowd.

Very nice! A welcome departure from the more common bird shot. My only suggestion is to remove the vertical streak just below the bird's beak. I know it is a moving raindrop, but it looks sort of like the bird has something hanging from its beak.
