From a trip to coastal Maine last fall.
Feedback welcome.
-
Very Gothic-looking in a North American way. Dark and foreboding.
-
Agreed. "It was a dark and stormy night..."
-
Good composition, sky, light, and of course the feeling of impending doom...
-
Very "end of the world" image. I like the composition, the B&W treatment is perfect and adds drama.
Well done!
-
I like the composition.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. The scene seemed to lend itself to a "foreboding" treatment, and I hoped I wasn't alone in thinking it appropriate.
-
Yeah, what they said!
-
Thanks! I'm so tired of seeing all of those over saturated shots of this scene!!
Every time one comes for framing, I cringe a bit. It really is a nice place to shoot but all i ever see are those nasty over saturated pieces of crap... and the tourists seem to love them!
-
Whew. I'm sure glad I didn't post one of those. ;D
It was my first visit there, but you're right it is a very inviting place to shoot, and I happened to be there at a good time.
-
Love it!!

Waning, not warning, me thinks.

Maybe both?
