I suppose one shouldn't have to be told that camera settings might have to be re-entered after a firmware update, but I've updated my E-M1 firmware from 1.0 to 1.1, from 1.1 to 1.2, from 1.2 to 1.3, from 1.3 to 1.4, from 1.4 to 1.5, and the camera settings I made when I had firmware 1.0 were never changed during the firmware updates. Consequently when I updated to 2.0 last Thursday I didn't give it a second thought. Friday I drove up into the mountains and shot photos until Sunday morning. I just came home and dumped my memory card to see what I would be processing next week and found.. hundreds of JPEGS!!!!.. not RAW files. Firmware 2.0 update reset my file preference from RAW to JPEG. So... you have been warned.
