Kenyon KS-8 gyro system. This is a turn-key setup (just attach your camera) with DUAL kenyon KS-8 gyros. The gyros are attached to a custom-made panning head. Just attach your camera and the camera will be stabilized and pan slowly.
System comes with:
- (2) Kenyon KS-8 gyros.
- Inner and outer frames, with panning head.
- (2) Inverters with battery cases. Gyros powered from 12v cigarette lighter.
- (1) battery, although I doubt the battery will hold any power as it has been neglected. A new Lead acid or Li-ion battery is available from Ken-lab for a reasonable cost.
- Auto-sensing smart charger for battery.
- 2 Pelican cases with padding perfectly fitted for Gyros. Cases look brand new. One grey case, one black case.
- Instruction booklet.
A terrific method of stabilizing video from planes, cars, or boats.
These gyros sell for $4000 each. Asking $3200 for BOTH gyros with the inner/outer frame and accessories. More info about the gyro can be seen at : www.ken-lab.com . The KS-8 has twice as much stabilizing power than the KS-6. These gyros are strong, weighing 5.5lbs each and spin at 20,000rpm.
Selling the system as I never use it. Initially purchased for a specific job, now gathering dust.
