This topic is for discussion of the image and commentary found in Michael's Phlog (http://www.luminous-endowment.org/pages/phlog1.html) titled August Moonset (http://www.luminous-endowment.org/pages/phlog3.html).

Is it "Moonrise" or "Moonset?"
I can't tell the direction of motion from the photo. ;)

My error. Now fixed.

Thanks.
I'll offer a real comment as soon as I have time to do these justice.
As others have said, I am grateful for the phlog and your notes on how the images came to be. It's a great addition to LuLa.

Not quite: it still says "Moonrise" on the front page.
It's a great shot and the commentary is very interesting. The phlog is an excellent idea.

OK. Fixed there too.

Just found you blog and really like the descriptions of your process. Thanks.
FYI:
You write: 'I used f/22 to get as much depth of field as possible' but the caption reads: Pentax 645z with 300mm f/5.6 at ISO 800.
The little details do make a difference.

Confusing, I know. The lens is an f/5.6 but this shot was at f/22.

Thanks.
With the inclusion of the ISO value in the caption I assumed the other numbers also referred to exposure values.
