Title: Epson 9900 maintenance schedule

I am just about to purchase the 9900 and was wondering if there was any information available regarding annual serviceable items.  I understand that the dampers are supposed to be replaced annually...but where do I stand if I purchase the Epson extended 3 year warranty...would annual maintenance be included with that?

I've also read that the printer should be cleaned regularly, due to paper dust accumulations...but what exactly do I clean and with what?

A couple of years ago, I spoke with the Epson guru on their support line about another issue and asked about getting a tech to come and service my second-hand 9900. His reply was to wait until there's a problem and to save my $$$. That was a couple of years ago and it stil works fine with an ocasional nozzle clean.
