Good morning,
These are some shots taken last Saturday (one day before full moon), at a location I really like. I was there to shoot the moon rising behind/near the lighthouse. It was really wonderful to see the moon rising on one side, and the sun setting on the other. I was lucky too, because the fog has been hanging around the area for a few days now (it has been a very strange summer so far...).
Regards.

#3 does it for me. There fog gives it a third (fourth?) dimension.

With Paulo's permission, I am posting his image with the water smoothed.

Rajan,
I like your interpretation very much. I think that the smoothing in the ocean adds to the ethereal feeling of the original image. There is now sense of movement in the fog, and also in the water.
Thanks for the contribution.

I like this one, I think it's an improvement over the original.

Nice work, Paulo and Rajan.

It's probably second nature to PS users, but how did you smooth the water, Rajan?

By applying the 'Motion Blur' filter in Photoshop CC.
